Littleton Lodge dates back to the 1850s, and, as with most Victorian houses, offers well proportioned rooms with high ceilings. An unusual yet charming feature of the house is a conservatory built on the first floor between the eaves. The house is set back from the Devizes to Salisbury road (A360) in an acre of garden surrounded by delightful rural views and has secure parking. Littleton Lodge, once the estate manager’s residence to nearby Dauntsey’s Manor is located in the conservation village of Littleton Panell which, together with the adjoining village of West Lavington, offers three good pubs within a five minute walk. A ten minute drive, to the ancient market town of Devizes, will reveal a huge number of pubs and a variety of restaurants to suit you. |
